Asthma and Allergy Medical Assistant Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Northwest Asthma & Allergy Center in Redmond, WA.

About the Position

This is a non-exempt hourly position that will work with patients of all ages, assisting with rooming patients, collecting vitals, and performing point-of-care testing associated with asthma and allergy care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Room patients and collect vital signs
  • Perform point-of-care testing, including skin prick (scratch) and intradermal testing, patch testing, administering vaccines and allergy shots, and lung function testing (spirometry and FENO)
  • Work effectively in an outpatient setting, providing excellent patient care and communication

Requirements

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) license in Washington State at time of hire
  • Current Basic Life Support certification (CPR & First Aid cards)
  • Self-motivation, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask
