Job Opportunity

The University of New Mexico is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a Radiology Faculty Position in Emergency Radiology. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of radiology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide coverage in Emergency Radiology, interpreting CT, ultrasound, radiography, and MRI across all organ systems.
  • Supervise residents and fellows, contributing to their education and development.
  • Engage in clinical research or other scholarly activities, including participation in multidisciplinary conferences and interdisciplinary activities.
  • Teach outstanding radiology residents and fellows, promoting academic productivity and job satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • MD or equivalent.
  • Able to obtain state licensure(s) in the state of New Mexico.
  • ABR board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by contract start date.
  • State of New Mexico Medical License (or eligibility) by contract start date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience or fellowship in Emergency Radiology, MSK, Neuroradiology, or Abdominal Imaging with demonstrated ability to read across the broad spectrum of emergency imaging.
