Your role will involve executing engineering designs within a specified discipline, ensuring alignment with project objectives, budget constraints, and timelines from the initial phase through to final execution.

This position may function as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager for moderately sized, clearly defined projects, and/or as a Senior Technical Engineer on projects led by others.

You will independently manage assigned projects and segments of larger initiatives, utilizing advanced skills, techniques, and methodologies.

Key Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is essential.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering.

A Professional Engineer (PE) License is mandatory.

Proficiency in computer-aided design software (AutoCAD, GIS, REVIT) is required.

Comprehensive understanding of permitting and funding agency regulations.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective time management skills.

Self-driven with a strong ambition for professional growth.

A valid driver’s license and a registered, insured vehicle are necessary.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of design work.


Guide assigned project personnel, which may include engineers, drafters, designers, field staff, and administrative support, in achieving project goals.


Provide technical expertise to projects, determining design approaches and reviewing outcomes for precision and thoroughness in meeting client expectations.

Adhere to regulatory and permitting standards.

Prepare a variety of documents, including project reports, proposals, estimates, bid documents, and permit applications.

Contribute to project understanding and strategies for proposals.

Maintain project schedules and budgets, promptly communicating any potential issues regarding budget, scope, or timelines to the Project Manager.


Develop and implement strategies to secure repeat business from core clients, while enhancing business development and sales skills.

May act as a client relationship manager for a select group of clients.

May be designated as an Assistant Project Manager.
