Job Title: Mental Health Counselor - Residential Support Services

Job Summary:

Radias Health is seeking a Mental Health Counselor to join our Residential Support Services team. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with adults who have experienced significant barriers in living due to symptoms of mental illness and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to clients to help them achieve their goals and improve their mental health.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the client's care team.
  • Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to support clients in crisis.
  • Assist clients with daily living skills, such as hygiene, housekeeping, and budgeting.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by the facility's nurse.
  • Develop and implement recreational and social activities to promote client engagement and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to client care.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • 2,000 hours of experience working with individuals with mental illness (preferred)
