We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bakery Clerk PT to join our team at Lowes Foods. As a Bakery Clerk PT, you will play a key role in providing excellent guest service through bakery department activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and interacting with guests in a polite and friendly manner.
- Prepare products for sale by baking, weighing, and pricing items.
- Maintain product levels, quality, and freshness to ensure a high standard of quality.
- Perform cake decorating duties as requested.
- Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area, and sales area.
- Communicate guest requests to management and temperature breakdowns to supervisors.
- Keep the supply area neat, clean, and tidy at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist with front-end duties to maintain a noticeable wait standard.
- Announce specials and sale information on the PA system.
- Assist with product receiving and storage.
Requirements:
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to read and understand information and direction.
- Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
