Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist Technician for both 1st and 2nd shifts. This position involves working Monday through Friday with potential overtime as needed.

Compensation: $22 to $30 per hour based on experience.


Position Summary:

The CNC Machinist Technician plays a crucial role in setting up and operating CNC machinery to produce a variety of precision components according to detailed specifications. This includes adhering to technical drawings, work instructions, and inspection protocols.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a range of manual and CNC machinery, including lathes, milling, and drilling machines to fabricate components for assembly.
  • Read, write, and modify G-code programming for various CNC machines.
  • Set up, adjust, and operate machine tools, including specialized tools for precision machining tasks.
  • Secure workpieces and tools onto machines, ensuring proper alignment and stability.
  • Load components and manage machine cycles to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Perform machining operations for replacement tooling and collaborate with engineering on new product designs.
  • Utilize basic mathematical calculations to work within tight tolerances.
  • Interpret technical drawings and process instructions accurately.
  • Measure and inspect components using precision instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Identify nonconformance issues and collaborate with engineering and quality departments to resolve them.
  • Document work performed and any defects encountered.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Be prepared to work overtime as required by operational demands.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and attendance.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant on-the-job training.
  • Experience in machining or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Mastercam and SolidWorks is essential.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident due to ITAR regulations.

  • Possess a high school diploma or GED and relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with military specifications in the aerospace sector.
  • Understanding of ISO 9000 standards.
  • Self-motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
