Role Overview

The Electrical Trades Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in electrical codes, computer repair, and Cisco networking. You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all students, including those with special needs and English language learners.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional instruction to students in electrical trades, computer repair, and Cisco networking
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve educational goals
  • Track student progress and use data to inform instruction
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements
  • Valid NJ Instructional Certificate: Career and Technical Education Teaching Certificate
  • Five (5) years experience in Electrical Trades
  • Proficiency in electrical theory to prepare students to pass the State mandated competency exam
  • Required criminal history background check, physical and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
