Director, Value Optimization and Financial Planning

At Sony Interactive Entertainment America, we're seeking a highly skilled Director of Value Optimization and Financial Planning to join our team. As a key member of our Studio Business Group, you'll be responsible for driving value optimization across our portfolio of projects and setting financial goals and targets for titles and studio teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and recommend financial targets for titles and studios to meet overall financial targets
  • Lead a team in conducting commercial and value optimization analysis on projects and opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with portfolio management and studio partnering groups to ensure effective translation of top-down portfolio constraints
  • Initiate and lead commercial review projects across specific projects or across the portfolio
  • Develop and present results and recommendations to decision-making stakeholders

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in business, strategy, finance, economics, or related field; MBA and/or CFA designation preferred
  • 12-15+ years of experience in finance planning, strategy, and business intelligence, consulting, or market research
  • Experience in gaming industry and/or is an advantage but not a must
  • Strong commercial mindset, influencing skills, and value judgement
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic way under changing circumstances and constraints
