Job Title: Trauma Surgeon

Extant Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Trauma Surgeon to join our dynamic surgical team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform emergency surgical procedures for trauma patients, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, leveraging expertise in trauma care.
  • Participate in trauma call rotation, providing 24/7 coverage for emergency situations.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring seamless patient transitions.
  • Conduct and participate in clinical research and education, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in trauma care.
  • Mentor and train residents, fellows, and medical students, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certification in General Surgery and Fellowship training in Trauma Surgery, demonstrating expertise in trauma care.
  • Current, unrestricted medical license in the state, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification, showcasing commitment to trauma care excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
