At Scott & Crosby Staffing, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services.
Key Responsibilities:- Medication Dispensing & Verification: Accurately dispense prescribed medications, ensuring correct dosages, forms, and instructions are provided to patients.
- Medication Therapy Management: Conduct medication reviews and therapy management to optimize patient outcomes, adjusting prescriptions in collaboration with physicians as needed.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including Vermont Board of Pharmacy Rules and Regulations, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient-specific pharmaceutical care plans.
Requirements:
- Education & Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy. Advanced degrees or certifications in pharmacy practice or related fields are highly desirable.
- Licensure: Active Vermont Pharmacy License in good standing.
- Skills: Proficient in computer use and data entry with strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of professional experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably within a hospital or other healthcare institution.
- Experience in an institutional or clinical pharmacy setting, with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, patient care, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
