Job Title: Compensation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Compensation Specialist to join our team at Swoon, a leading staffing agency that handles the staffing needs of over 80 Fortune 500 clients.

Job Summary:

The Compensation Specialist will play a pivotal role in bolstering our company-wide compensation programs. They will be responsible for administering and executing programs, policies, and processes pertaining to compensation, as well as providing counsel on base pay management and conducting thorough market analyses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Compensation Consultants and serve as an internal consultant to HR Consultants and business leadership on compensation matters.
  • Assist in orchestrating the global year-end process, encompassing project management, stakeholder training and communication, reporting, analytics, and audits.
  • Participate in the annual external salary survey data gathering and submission on behalf of the company, analyzing the findings to glean insights.
  • Oversee the job description library and take ownership of the organization's salary survey database, offering recommendations on job evaluation processes and methodology.
  • Aid in the development and upkeep of salary administration programs, including crafting salary structures, merit and promotional guidelines, and short-term incentives.
  • Conduct meticulous job evaluations, comprehensive market analyses, and develop precise job descriptions aligned with industry best practices.
  • Provide assistance on Compensation-related projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in compensation program administration and implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent project management abilities, including stakeholder coordination and communication.
  • Familiarity with salary survey data collection and analysis.
  • Solid understanding of job evaluation methodologies and best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in job description creation and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for consultation and support.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in handling various compensation-related tasks and projects.
