Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Psychologist to join our team at the National Center for PTSD. As a Research Psychologist, you will conduct scientific investigations and contribute to the generation and dissemination of knowledge in support of the research and educational missions of the National Center for PTSD.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research studies and projects related to PTSD and traumatic stress.
  • Develop and implement research protocols and procedures.
  • Collect and analyze data, and prepare reports and publications.
  • Collaborate with other researchers and clinicians to advance the understanding and treatment of PTSD.
  • Provide clinical supervision to Psychology trainees working within the PTSD Clinical Team.
  • May provide direct clinical care within PTSD Clinical Team contexts.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Experience in research and clinical settings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with electrophysiological and psychophysiological methods.
  • Publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Experience with grant writing and management.
