About the Role:
Our Geospatial Intelligence team is dedicated to providing essential skills and capabilities for the management and exploitation of national, tactical, and commercial intelligence. We enable the production of intelligence and situational awareness crucial for national security, targeting, command and control, and humanitarian efforts. Our expertise encompasses mission workflow analysis, specialized computing platforms, and advanced analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
The Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance (ISR) Processing department is looking for candidates to support multi-cloud and high-performance computing (HPC) initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing cloud computing and in-house data center technologies to develop HPC and AI/ML pipelines for geospatial information processing.
  • Integrating geospatial data sources into IT infrastructure and cloud services.
  • Collaborating with a team to devise innovative solutions with minimal requirements.
  • Prototyping geospatial capabilities and formulating recommendations for integrated solutions to enhance MITRE's impact.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with current SCI.
  • Strong foundation in Systems Engineering principles and practical application.
  • Familiarity with GEOINT products, analytics, and satellite systems.
  • Experience with digital engineering and model-based systems engineering.
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate across diverse teams on large projects.
  • Desire to learn and engage in a dynamic technical environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to tackle complex government challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • This position requires on-site presence five days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with NGA and its mission.
  • Understanding of Intelligence Community Agencies and systems.
  • Comfortable working with high-level government sponsors.
  • Ability to assist the government in making value assertions.
  • Experience in creating test plans and evaluating pilot initiatives.
  • Knowledge of style-transfer learning and inference models.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
