Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IR Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate fluoroscopic equipment to perform angiographic and interventional procedures
  • Position patients and immobilize as necessary
  • Assist radiologists during procedures, including handling instruments and monitoring equipment
  • Load power injectors with contrast media and prepare for injection
  • Maintain studies within the Image archival system
  • Schedule patient procedures and charge patients for procedures and supplies
  • Assist in orientation of new technologists and provide education and training to student technologists
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduate or completion of a program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification
  • ARRT certification in radiography and vascular interventional technology
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to work with complex technology and assume a leadership role
