Job Description

King's Fish House - Tempe is a leading restaurant company that has been a family-owned business since 1945. We are seeking an experienced Executive Kitchen Manager to join our team at our Tempe location.

The Executive Kitchen Manager will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food products, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. This is a key leadership role that requires strong culinary skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Ensure high-quality food products are prepared and presented to our guests.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective kitchen systems and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve business objectives and goals.
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to kitchen staff.
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenses, including inventory, labor, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; formal culinary training preferred.
