Job Title: Materials Coordinator

UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper is seeking a highly skilled Materials Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient distribution of supplies throughout our facilities.

Job Summary:

The Materials Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and stocking assigned supply locations, processing departmental requisitions electronically, and receiving, processing returns, and maintaining par levels. Additionally, you will replenish code carts, maintain supply databases, and ensure organization and cleanliness within inventory supply rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and stock assigned supply locations

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5 years of relevant experience required, with previous healthcare experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a stressful and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to learn inventory control software system and basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions:

The job requires constant sitting, standing, walking, and bending/stooping. Frequent repetitive body movements. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills. Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
