About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services. As a Senior Cloud Consultant, you will be responsible for helping our customers implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve complex technical problems.

You will work closely with our customers to understand their business needs and provide expert guidance on cloud architecture, security, and migration strategies. Your strong technical skills and experience in cloud computing will enable you to design and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions that meet our customers' needs.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of cloud experts and contribute to the development of cutting-edge cloud solutions. You will also have the chance to learn and grow with our company, as we continue to innovate and push the boundaries of cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud computing solutions for our customers
  • Provide expert guidance on cloud architecture, security, and migration strategies
  • Work closely with customers to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with our team of cloud experts to develop and implement cloud solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on architecture, security, and migration
  • Strong technical skills in cloud computing, including AWS services and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with customers and team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with US Federal agencies and understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance with regulations such as ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP
  • Experience with cloud migration and transformation, including legacy system integration and modernization
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, including networking, server hardware, and storage
