With planned investments in capital projects, this role presents a unique opportunity to spearhead the identification, selection, and management of process enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will focus on three primary areas, with expertise in at least two preferred:

1. **Operational Excellence**

  • Identify potential areas for process enhancement.
  • Select impactful projects for execution.
  • Determine optimal strategies, including labor process modifications and equipment selection.
  • Oversee projects from initiation through to completion.

2. **Automation Evaluation**

  • Assess opportunities for automation projects.
  • Identify software and technology solutions for future readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with vendors.
  • Manage the implementation of projects.

3. **Capital Project Oversight**

  • Manage projects ranging from $5,000 to $500,000.
  • Work in conjunction with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team.
  • Successfully guide projects from concept to operational status.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage diverse responsibilities effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
