Job Summary
The Colorado Early Colleges is seeking a qualified Humanities Instructor to join our team. As an adjunct professor, you will be responsible for teaching Humanities courses and providing instruction in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of the college.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and administer Humanities education curriculum consistent with community college objectives.
- Design and implement lesson plans and instructional materials to enhance student learning.
- Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and modify instructional methods accordingly.
- Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning.
- Organize and maintain accurate and complete recordkeeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities, achievements, and daily attendance.
- Ensure that student conduct conforms with college policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other college staff members and participate in staff meetings and professional development as requested.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a field directly related to the area of instruction, or a master's degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the subject area of instruction.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
