Develop a comprehensive understanding of Tempus' financial processes and requirements to optimize system functionality and integration.
- System Implementation and Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and ensure seamless implementation of new financial technologies. Drive process improvements to streamline workflows, enhance data accuracy, and accelerate reporting cycles.
- Data Management and Reporting: Oversee the accuracy and integrity of financial data in systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards. Develop and produce regular financial reports, dashboards, and analyses to support strategic decision-making by senior leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with finance, engineering, operations, and other teams to understand their needs and align financial systems with overall business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Build, develop, and manage a high-performing team responsible for financial systems, data management, and reporting.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure financial systems and processes adhere to industry regulations, internal controls, and data security standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in financial systems management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
