Job Summary

PG&E Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Gas Transmission Manager. This position is responsible for managing teams directly or indirectly involved in operations & maintenance of the gas transmission and distribution system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage teams to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements and alignment with company values.
  • Provide timely completion of gas maintenance, gas construction, transmission & regulatory work, and or gas damage control.
  • Manage emergency responses to all requests, ensuring employees respond in a timely manner and provide total quality service.
  • Monitor compliance to standards and specifications, to achieve high quality work the first time done.
  • Identify and pursue productivity improvements and implement work practices to reduce operating costs while meeting corporate and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma
  • CA Driver's License
  • 5 years of relevant experience in utility, maintenance, construction, operations, logistics or service planning work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Leadership experience, represented employees or job-related
  • Experience in customer service
  • Experience in gas utility
  • Experience as a Gas Control Technician, I&C Technician, Controls Technician, or Electrician

This is a DOT (Department of Transportation) covered classification and is subject to random drug and/or alcohol screening.

Travel is expected 1-2 days quarterly.

PG&E Corporation is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.
