Job Summary:
This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in the Company's buildings and structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building automation systems and be able to perform complex skilled work relating to electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, and painting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex skilled maintenance and repair to building systems, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry.
- Understand and use building automation programs, such as Johnson Controls Management System, Fire Control Systems, Alarm Systems, and Building Access Systems.
- Perform complex skilled maintenance on manufacturing equipment as necessary.
- Maintain grounds and roadways.
- Perform chemical change-out and replenishment for manufacturing areas.
- Perform complex preventive maintenance functions on equipment.
- Participate in safety training and actively comply with safety policies and practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, such as cardboard baling, snow and ice removal, chemical handling, office/equipment moves, landscaping/mowing.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate in skilled trade, such as Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of related maintenance technician experience, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Experience with building management control systems, fire and burglar alarm systems.
- HVAC maintenance experience strongly preferred.
- General knowledge of ISO requirements and working knowledge of those requirements as they pertain to document/record control, infrastructure, property management, and preventive maintenance in support of product manufacture preferred.
- High level of initiative and strong work ethic.
- Requires valid Driver's License.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and hear.
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and crawling throughout the day.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
