Role Summary
As a Lead Structural Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing critical engineering projects. Your expertise will guide the planning, design, and construction phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review construction documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams for structural engineering projects.
- Prepare and evaluate calculations, drawings, and specifications for seismic and wind analysis, foundation design, and structural framing.
- Implement modifications and renovations to existing structures as needed.
- Utilize computer-aided drafting tools effectively.
Essential Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in nuclear engineering.
- Proficient understanding of Federal, State, and Local codes applicable to structural engineering.
- Professional Engineer License is preferred but not mandatory.
