We are currently in search of a dependable and skilled Facilities Operations Manager who can oversee essential maintenance tasks throughout our community. This role requires technical expertise and the capability to fulfill various responsibilities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain awareness and adherence to state regulations.
- Implement good infection control practices and universal precautions.
- Collaborate with relevant community departments to develop and execute maintenance programs.
- Assist in formulating community-specific fire safety, disaster, and evacuation protocols in line with established policies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding policies and procedures.
- Conduct monthly fire drills to ensure preparedness.
- Carry out scheduled and required maintenance tasks throughout the community.
- Perform various duties including changing light bulbs, cleaning fixtures, general repairs, plumbing, drywall touch-ups, and maintaining washers and dryers.
- Clean and wax floors and carpets to uphold community standards.
- Oversee the completion of maintenance projects and ensure that supplies are organized and well-maintained.
- Foster a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for Residents, team members, and visitors.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Administrator.
- Complete all required training to comply with DSS regulations.
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations related to maintenance activities.
- A diverse skill set in maintenance and management.
- Knowledge of material costs and budget management.
- Effective communication skills with management, colleagues, and visitors.
- Acceptable criminal record check is mandatory.
- Completion of CPR/First Aid training within the first 60 days of employment.
- Consistent attendance record is essential.
- Ability to perform tasks gracefully, collaborate with supervisors, and assist colleagues.
- Proactively seek improvements for community operations.
- Utilize basic management skills effectively.
- Capability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
