We are currently in search of a dependable and skilled Facilities Operations Manager who can oversee essential maintenance tasks throughout our community. This role requires technical expertise and the capability to fulfill various responsibilities effectively.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain awareness and adherence to state regulations.
  • Implement good infection control practices and universal precautions.
  • Collaborate with relevant community departments to develop and execute maintenance programs.
  • Assist in formulating community-specific fire safety, disaster, and evacuation protocols in line with established policies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding policies and procedures.
  • Conduct monthly fire drills to ensure preparedness.
  • Carry out scheduled and required maintenance tasks throughout the community.
  • Perform various duties including changing light bulbs, cleaning fixtures, general repairs, plumbing, drywall touch-ups, and maintaining washers and dryers.
  • Clean and wax floors and carpets to uphold community standards.
  • Oversee the completion of maintenance projects and ensure that supplies are organized and well-maintained.
  • Foster a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for Residents, team members, and visitors.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Administrator.
  • Complete all required training to comply with DSS regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations related to maintenance activities.
  • A diverse skill set in maintenance and management.
  • Knowledge of material costs and budget management.
  • Effective communication skills with management, colleagues, and visitors.
  • Acceptable criminal record check is mandatory.
  • Completion of CPR/First Aid training within the first 60 days of employment.
  • Consistent attendance record is essential.
  • Ability to perform tasks gracefully, collaborate with supervisors, and assist colleagues.
  • Proactively seek improvements for community operations.
  • Utilize basic management skills effectively.
  • Capability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
