About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Improvement Coordinator to join our team at Providence Kodiak Alaska Medical Center. As a key member of our quality improvement team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of care we provide to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with department meeting support, including scheduling, prep work, and minutes.
  • Collect and analyze data to create aggregate reports and inform quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support regulatory and accreditation survey preparation and other activities related to hospital performance improvement.
  • Develop and implement caregiver education programs related to current performance improvement projects.
Requirements
  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience with Microsoft office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science or Healthcare related field
  • Coursework/Training in Medical terminology
  • Experience with principals and tools for performance improvement such as PDCA cycles, reward and recognition schemes, process mapping, and flowcharts
  • Experience in healthcare related position working with medical and nursing staff
