We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at Metz Environmental Services. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily internal and external building rounds and inspections to identify potential issues
  • Change HVAC filters and perform minor repairs as needed
  • Assist in running fire drills and other safety procedures
  • Run and test generators to ensure proper function
  • Inspect building equipment to ensure safety standards are met
  • Identify and fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
  • Complete work orders assigned by the department manager
  • Perform other department tasks as assigned
Requirements:
  • Plumbing, electrical, and exterior landscaping experience
  • Familiarity with snow plowing and snow removal
  • Experience with reading blueprints and following schematics
  • Driver's license
  • Capable with handtools and light equipment
