Join Our Team as a Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at The Point Quest Therapeutic Services, A Member of the Point Quest Group. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality speech and language services to students in the SE Houston Metro area.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position for the 2024-25 school year, offering a competitive pay range of $52.00 - $62.00/hr. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students and develop your skills as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and provide individual, group, and classroom-based therapeutic services to students consistent with speech and language goals.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and identify student progress.
  • Conduct independent evaluations to assess students with speech or language disorders and conditions.
  • Develop clinical management strategies and diagnostic statements.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other interdisciplinary team members to plan and implement classroom activities.
  • Provide professional development in assigned schools to help school personnel identify and understand communication deficits in students.
Requirements:
  • Current, active TX state license as a Speech Language Pathologist, or be eligible for licensure.
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance.
  • Computer-literate; knowledge of standard company software applications, internet.
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient language and communication skills, including business writing and professional telephone manners.
