Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Satisfaction: Reviews patient satisfaction surveys quarterly to identify areas for improvement. Works with physicians and employees to reduce wait times for the group. Facilitates the resolution of patient complaints.
  • Accounts Payable: Authorizes all practice bills in an accurate and timely manner. Ensures practice expenditures stay within budget.
  • Billing and Coding: Supervises practice billing and accounts receivable activities. Acts as liaison between physicians and central billing office.
  • Schedules and Templates: Prepares provider schedules and templates. Coordinates staff daily schedules.
  • Payroll: Submits employee adjustment logs bi-weekly. Approves employee time bi-weekly. Monitors practice overtime. Submits physician sick and vacation time monthly to administrator.
  • Compliance/Risk Management: Ensures practice, physicians, and staff comply with relevant federal, state, and local regulations. Conducts annual safety review of practice.
  • Personnel Management: Manages human resource activities. Provides training and orientation to new employees. Ensures adequate staffing. Coordinates employee leave time. Supervises office staff in professional manner.
  • System Review: Analyzes practice systems to increase efficiency and maximize revenue. Conducts annual review of major practice systems to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:
  • Excel and spreadsheet experience required.
  • Patient billing knowledge required.
  • Previous experience with physician office management required.
  • OB/GYN experience a plus.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
