Recreation Attendant

Are you looking for a part-time opportunity to work in a fun and dynamic environment? The City of Manassas Recreation division is seeking a Recreation Attendant to join our team

This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing admissions, and assisting with recreation and athletic programs and events. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a flexible schedule.

• Perform attendant responsibilities at parks and facilities, including admissions, customer service, and providing information.
• Follow recreation coordinator plans to assist with recreation and athletic programs and events.
• Maintain and prepare equipment and facilities for ongoing programs, athletics, and events.
• Interact and communicate with various groups and individuals, including Parks, Culture & Recreation Staff, patrons, program participants, and the public.

• A combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities in customer service environments and/or recreation programs.
• Must be at least 15 years old by the time of hire.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a group, with strong communication skills and a flexible schedule.
