**Position Overview**

The Department of Pathology at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking a highly qualified individual for a full-time clinical faculty role as a **Neuropathologist**. This position offers an academic appointment in either the Clinical X or In Residence series, with rank determined by the candidate's experience and qualifications.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Provide clinical services in surgical neuropathology and other subspecialty areas based on expertise.
  • Engage in academic activities, including clinical and/or basic research, as well as teaching responsibilities for medical students, residents, fellows, and faculty colleagues.

**Qualifications**
The ideal candidate must possess an MD or MD/PhD degree and must hold, or be eligible for, a California medical license by the time of hire. It is essential that applicants include current and/or pending qualifications in their submission materials.

**Compensation**
Salary and appointment rank will be aligned with the applicant's experience and training. The minimum base salary range for this position is competitive and determined by rank and step at appointment.
