Key Responsibilities- Represent clients in court hearings and legal proceedings as required.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements for a diverse caseload.
- Maintain and organize client files to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Assist in the equitable division of marital assets during divorce cases.
- Advocate for clients by thoroughly understanding their needs and developing strategic plans for their cases.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, particularly in emotionally charged situations.
- Active membership in the American Bar Association (ABA).
- Comprehensive knowledge of family law and experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants.
- Prior experience or education in criminal justice is advantageous.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a law firm focusing on family law and real estate matters.
