Position Overview: As a key contributor to the development and execution of the EUCOM Joint Exercise Program, you will provide expert guidance and support to government leaders. Your role will be essential in creating effective and adaptable joint exercise frameworks that enhance EUCOM staff training across various warfighting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the execution of exercises in specialized domains, aligning with the core warfighting functions.
  • Collaborate closely with EUCOM J7 to deliver customized support for Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) events.
  • Leverage military expertise alongside technical skills to ensure the development and refinement of comprehensive war and contingency plans.
  • Provide specialized knowledge in relevant warfighting fields to support exercise programs and staff training initiatives.
  • Deliver technical services as required to assist in assessments, analyses, and operational design.
  • Offer analytical and technical support for the planning, preparation, rehearsal, execution, and evaluation of computer-aided joint and combined training exercises.
  • Assist in planning conferences for the Joint Exercise Program (JEP), including scenario development, synchronization workshops, and joint simulations event tests.
  • Support multinational engagement efforts, collaborating with both Department of Defense (DoD) and non-DoD entities.
  • Utilize the Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS) in conjunction with the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) and the Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS) to gather, analyze, and disseminate critical data for the implementation of the Joint Training System (JTS).
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organizational mission, functions, command relationships, and administrative processes to enhance support for the warfighting command.
  • Review proposed directives to ensure alignment with command guidance.
  • Evaluate existing doctrines and procedures to ensure they meet organizational objectives, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct administrative and coordination tasks related to Joint Doctrine and Joint TTPs.

  • At least three years of joint experience (EUCOM preferred) or NATO experience is required.
