The Funds and Operations Analyst place of duty will be Headquarters MARFOREUR/AF.
- Performs administrative duties to track specific budget and accounting funds.
- Supports or provides fiscal operations, logistics, travel, reconciliation, information management, recordkeeping, and general administrative support functions.
- Provides subject matter expertise in support of exercise budget planning, forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation.
- Maintains program and administrative reference materials and maintains an effective, relevant, and executable support to exercises and consistently reviews lessons learned to apply them to future efforts.
- Provides inputs to unclassified and classified reports and briefs.
- Prepares and submits various documents to MARFOREUR/AF Divisions, higher, adjacent, and subordinate commands, other US government agencies, and foreign partner and multi-national partner military organizations, and coordinates and tracks such correspondence.
- Acts as a Defense Travel System (DTS) Routing Official for the MARFOREUR/AF G3 and other MARFOREUR/AF offices as directed. Applies analytical and budgetary techniques as part of the command DTS approval process for travel authorizations and vouchers.
- Master’s degree in a related field and 3 years of specialized experience; OR a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6 years of specialized experience; OR 10 years of specialized experience.
- Possesses a US Secret or higher-level clearance.
- Must be able and willing to travel anywhere in Europe, Africa, and the United States.
- Must be able and willing to travel occasionally (up to 10%).
- Fluency in the JTR and DOD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) preferred.
- Proficiency as a DTS Routing Official preferred.
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Previous military experience and experience working at military service component or similar headquarters preferred.
