Experience Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of EKG; ability to set up and operate a 12-lead EKG (training provided)
  • 12-lead EKG competency required every two years upon hire
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
  • Annual training in non-violent crisis intervention
Preferred Qualifications
  • California state certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Certified Nurse Attendant (CNA)
  • Experience in an acute care hospital setting as an ED Technician, CNA, or nursing student
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows operating systems
