Adjunct Professor of Religion

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor of Religion to teach courses in a classroom/lab/field environment that closely simulates the environment of the industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Religion and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse student population.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction for credited technical/occupational courses
  • Prepare standardized course syllabi using provided template
  • Evaluate students' progress in attaining goals and objectives based on established course grading requirements
  • Prepare and maintain all required documentation and administrative reports
  • Attend professional development training as required for specific classroom or online course delivery
  • Teach Religion courses in a classroom/lab/field environment
  • Measure program or departmental student learning outcomes for continuous student improvement and success

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Religion or Master's degree in a related discipline with 18 hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited institution
  • Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in Religion
  • Teaching experience at the postsecondary level
  • Experience teaching in an online or hybrid environment

Salary/Benefits: Based on qualifications/no benefits
