Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Chemistry Adjunct Instructor to join our team at GeorgiaGov. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry courses in a classroom/lab/field environment, preparing lesson plans, and evaluating student progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans for Chemistry courses
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
  • Prepare and maintain administrative reports and documentation
  • Attend professional development training as required
  • Teach Chemistry courses in a classroom/lab/field environment
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Chemistry or related discipline with 18 hours in the teaching discipline
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Strong computer skills and ability to interact effectively with a diverse student population
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in Chemistry
  • Teaching experience at the postsecondary level
  • Experience teaching in an online or hybrid environment
