At RUSH Kids Pediatric Therapy, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary team. Your role will be essential in creating a welcoming environment for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist both new and returning patients, providing them with essential information about their visit.
- Manage appointment scheduling through in-person interactions and phone communications.
- Maintain regular communication with various stakeholders, including legal representatives, insurance providers, and internal teams.
- Handle patient payments, ensuring accurate processing of co-pays and managing insurance verifications.
- Offer patients relevant details regarding their upcoming appointments during checkout.
- Address inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in a front desk role
- Experience with insurance verification processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in a medical office setting
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach consistently throughout the workday.
- Manual dexterity for typing and data entry tasks.
- Capability to lift and carry items up to specified weight limits.
- Visual acuity to maintain accurate records and recognize individuals.
- Effective communication skills to understand and provide directions.
