ROLE SUMMARY

As the Catering Operations Supervisor, you will report directly to the Catering Manager and oversee the overall functionality of the designated premium outlet. Your leadership will guide frontline staff while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide comprehensive information to catering clientele regarding menus, company policies, and operational practices.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of all special event functions, including space layout, equipment load-in, and staff assignments.
  • Collaborate with the catering manager, clients, facilities, and culinary teams to guarantee an exceptional event experience.
  • Conduct staff meetings prior to events to communicate details and expectations.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Catering Services Manager.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Ensure timely arrival for scheduled events and fulfill opening and closing duties as required.
  • Monitor frontline staff to ensure compliance with company standards and quality expectations.
  • Address guest concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all supplies are stocked according to established par levels and maintain cleanliness in work areas.
  • Accurately complete necessary paperwork.
  • Maintain a visible leadership presence in dining areas, bars, and kitchens.
  • Foster teamwork with fellow associates and other service departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of management experience in premium services, catering, or concessions within a sports and entertainment venue. Key qualifications include:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to high levels of customer and client service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

COMPENSATION

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401k plan.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The physical demands of this role include regular sitting, talking, and hearing, as well as using hands for control. Frequent standing, walking, and stooping are required, along with specific vision abilities such as close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
