Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Lead to join our ICU team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care, utilizing the nursing process and policies. This will include:

  • Providing management of operational and nursing activities during night shift
  • Consulting with staff, physicians, and department director on operational problems and interpretation of hospital policies
  • Assisting with hiring, counseling, evaluations, and scheduling

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • 1 year of experience as a charge nurse or other management role (preferred)
  • A Registered Nurse license in North Carolina (or compact state)
  • American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
  • American Heart Association ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
