Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage laboratory staff, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Collaborate with the medical staff to provide consultative services and ensure that laboratory results are accurately interpreted and communicated.
  • Oversee the laboratory's performance improvement program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize laboratory operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements, including CLIA and Joint Commission standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) or related field from an accredited college.
  • Valid General Supervisor license from the State of Nevada or eligibility to work while pending.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical laboratory supervisory experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.
