Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Development Manager to join our team at Pacific Oaks College and Children's School. As a key member of our Advancement department, you will play a critical role in driving our fundraising efforts and building strong relationships with alumni, parents, foundations, corporations, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Fundraising Strategies: Collaborate with the President and various stakeholders to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies that align with the college's mission and vision.
  • Build and Nurture Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni, parents, foundations, corporations, and other stakeholders to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts.
  • Manage Donor Database: Manage the donor database within our CRM/Fundraising software, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Coordinate Special Events: Oversee logistics for special events, including fundraising events, to engage supporters and expand our network.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience managing medium to large-scale projects in the education or non-profit sector, with a focus on fundraising and development.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and financial management skills, with the ability to work independently and make recommendations to the President.
Working Conditions

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderately noisy while in the office. The office temperature is about 70 degrees.
