Responsibilities
  • Provide restorative nursing services to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and transfers.
  • Assist residents with adaptive equipment, such as walkers, canes, and slide boards, to promote independence and safety.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices in restorative care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of certified Restorative Aide training course.
  • Current and unencumbered Nursing Assistants certification in the state.
  • Thorough proficiency in the use of adaptive equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment.
  • Nursing Assistant experience providing direct care to multiple residents.
  • Behavioral care or memory care experience.
  • Experience with electronic medical records systems, such as PointClickCare (PCC).
