The Nurse Assistant (NA) role is a vital part of our healthcare team, providing non-licensed patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role involves performing delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks, including vital signs, basic patient care, and transportation.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform delegated patient care tasks, including EKGs and vital signs
- Provide basic patient care, such as bathing and dressing
- Transport patients safely and efficiently
- Respond to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program or Nursing Assistant program
- Demonstrated equivalency, such as experience as a corpsman, EMT, or foreign-licensed RN or MD
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
- 1 year of previous Nurse Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant experience in a hospital or post-acute environment
