Key Responsibilities:
As an LPN, you will play a vital role in facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough patient assessments and reassessments.
  • Gathering necessary information from patients and guiding them in specimen collection.
  • Providing education to patients and their guardians to enhance understanding and improve health outcomes.
  • Managing clinic operations, including greeting patients and preparing them for examinations.
  • Verifying patient identity and ensuring accurate room assignments.
  • Measuring vital signs and preparing laboratory specimens.
  • Performing in-office lab tests and documenting results in patient records.
  • Administering immunizations and prescribed medications as per established guidelines.
  • Reviewing and organizing patient charts for upcoming visits.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of clinical supplies and exam rooms.
  • Coordinating diagnostic testing and scheduling referrals as needed.
  • Responding to patient inquiries and managing communication effectively.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Completion of specialized training beyond high school (minimum of one year).
  • At least one year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Possession of a valid LPN license in the State of Florida.
  • AHA BLS Certification required upon hire.
