Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain building floors, walls, and surfaces using various cleaning solutions and equipment.
- Perform heavy cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing floors.
- Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs, ensuring prompt attention to prevent disruptions.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, colleagues, and management.
- Comply with all safety, security, and quality standards, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Be flexible and willing to complete assigned tasks, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Move equipment, furniture, and materials as needed to access cleaning areas.
- Remove stains and spills from various surfaces, using chemicals and cleaning solutions as required.
- Mix cleaning solutions according to specifications, ensuring effective and safe use.
- Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors to maintain a high level of cleanliness and appearance.
- Clean and vacuum carpeted areas, applying spot cleaning treatments as needed.
- Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas.
- Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding for events.
- Maintain a clean and organized janitor's closet, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Monitor building security and safety, performing tasks such as locking doors and checking electrical appliance use.
- Function as a contact for clients, demonstrating high-level professionalism and communication skills.
- Work with minimal supervision, independently determining tasks to complete on a daily basis.
- Perform all physical aspects of the job duties, including continuous walking and standing.
- Communicate effectively with management and customers, providing excellent customer service.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: 9:30pm-5am, 40 hours a week
