Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Holy Family Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals of all ages, from infants to the elderly, who present to the emergency department with a wide range of medical conditions.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will be responsible for assessing, intervening, and stabilizing patients with various medical conditions, including trauma and illnesses. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care, prioritize patient needs, and ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient information.
Responsibilities:- Provide patient care based on established standards of care, protocols, and policies.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assess and prioritize patient needs, seeking assistance as needed from colleagues and supervisors.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, including assessment, care plan, and patient goals.
- Administer medications and intravenous therapy safely and effectively, in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Identify and report potential safety risks and medical errors, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Current nursing license in Massachusetts.
- BCLS and ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
- TNCC and ENPC certification required within 1 year of hire.
- BSN preferred.
