RN / Infection Prevention Specialist - Full Time Days

As an Infection Prevention Nurse with the Good Samaritan Society, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our residents and staff. This is a full-time position working days, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities- Evaluate infection control trends and practices to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement educational programs for employees on infection prevention and control
- Monitor compliance with infection control standards and regulations
- Collaborate with infection and prevention and control staff to achieve program goals
- Assist with research needs and special projects as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related clinical field
- Two years of experience in a healthcare field, with certification in infection control preferred
- Ability to think critically and problem solve effectively
- Good interpersonal skills and willingness to learn
