We are seeking a skilled and organized Surgical Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will facilitate surgical scheduling, manage patient communications, and ensure a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures with precision and attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding their surgery and follow-up care, ensuring clear understanding and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation for surgeries, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
  • Maintain meticulous records and manage insurance authorizations, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Provide support and information to patients and families throughout the process, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a surgical or healthcare coordination role, with a strong understanding of medical procedures and protocols.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
  • Medical Assisting diploma or 1 year experience as a medical assistant, with knowledge of medical software and electronic health records.
