Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit team at Corpus Christi Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • 1 year of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in a Critical Care Unit.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
