About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Middle Market Underwriter to join our team. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will be responsible for underwriting new and renewal credit requests, collaborating with Client Solutions Managers and Relationship Managers to present findings and obtain credit approval. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing business, industry, and financial data to identify key risks and develop credit recommendations.
- Develop and present comprehensive credit analysis and recommendations to stakeholders, including business rationale and risk mitigations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely credit decisions, including financial statement spreading and covenant calculations.
- Monitor borrower financial performance and ensure compliance with Bank policies and procedures.
- Participate in customer and prospect calls, offering insights into customer financial needs and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and prospects, identifying opportunities for relationship expansion and growth.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Middle Market Underwriter with a strong background in commercial lending and credit analysis. Your expertise should include:
- 6+ years of commercial underwriting/credit analysis experience or relevant lending experience.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop credit recommendations.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
This role is fully onsite, with a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $102,911.60 - $145,911.60, with performance-based incentive compensation opportunities. We offer a range of benefits, including comprehensive healthcare coverage, a 401(k)-retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
